  The Treaty of Hudaibiyah: Key Points, Significance and Lessons A significant incident in the history of Islam, the treaty of Hudaibiyah was signed in the sixth year after Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his followers left Makkah. Despite their victory in the  battle of Badr , the Muslims during that time were not strong enough to attack the Pagans of Makkah. But they wished to visit the holy Kaaba and perform Tawaf.   The Last Sermon Of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) This sermon was delivered on the Ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah, 10 A.H. ( 623AD) in the Uranah valley of Mount Arafat in Mecca. It was the occasion of annual rites of Haj. It is also known as the Farewell Pilgrimage. After praising and thanking Allah the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) began with the words: "O People!   Misaq e Medina or the charter of Medina Misaq-e-Medina, also known as the Charter of Medina or Constitution of Medina, refers to a historic document that was formulated by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the year 622 CE. It served as a social and political agreement among the various tribes and communities residing in the city of Medina (then known as Yathrib) at that time. Clauses of the charter The Medina Charter, written and promulgated by Prophet Muhammad for the multi-religious ten thousand-strong citizens of the city-state of Medina in 622 A.D is truly a remarkable political-constitutional document. The claim made by Professor M. Hamidullah that it was the first written constitution. Ibn Ishaq and Abu Ubaid have reproduced the whole text of the Charter, word for word, in their respective books. Life of Holy Prophet at Makkah

  Early Meccan period Muhammad Ibn Abd Allah (Peace be upon him) born in the city of Mecca in the Year of the Elephant. The observance of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad is celebrated on the 12 th  day of Rabi’ al-Awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar on Monday.  The birth of the Messenger of God took place during the reign of Kisra Anusharwan in the year when Abrahah al-Ashram Abu Yaksum marched against Mecca with the Abyssinians, bringing with him the elephant, having the intention of demolishing the House of God.
